Certified Sustainability
Glass Resort is committed to Visit Finland’s Sustainable Travel Finland program. With the EcoCompass and Sustainable Travel Finland environmental certificates, the company takes into account the values of environmental responsibility and sustainability by communicating the principles of sustainable development to guests and staff.

EcoCompass
EcoCompass is a certified environmental management system that helps companies reduce their ecological footprint in a structured and practical way. Through this system, we set and monitor specific goals to make our operations more sustainable. Our current objectives include:
- Reducing water and electricity consumption
- Choosing environmentally responsible products and suppliers
- Minimizing waste and improving recycling
- Using more ecological cleaning chemicals
- Making future transport solutions more sustainable
- Educating our staff and guests about environmental values
By following the EcoCompass framework, we ensure that sustainability is a visible and traceable part of our daily work.
Sustainable Travel Finland
Developed by Visit Finland, the Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) program helps tourism operators adopt sustainable practices across all areas of business. Receiving the STF label means that we meet strict national criteria for sustainability, transparency, and long-term commitment.
We regularly assess our performance and develop our practices based on the STF guidelines. This includes environmental impact, community involvement, safety, accessibility, and cultural responsibility.

Transparency and Continuous Development
Holding these certifications is not the end of the journey, but part of an ongoing process. We see them as tools for learning and improving, as well as a way to communicate openly with our guests about the values we stand for.
